My thought is that since I can watch the Mariners 160 times a year on the local channel and am not as starved for baseball as I used to be. When I was a teenager I would pretty much watch whatever baseball game I could find since there were only about one or two a week. It was a big deal, but now with the constant coverage of the local guys I just don't feel as inclined to watch the Red Sox and Yankees for the 22nd time that season.
