Not defending the Ute at all here, in fact it sounds like he got what he deserved, but it seems as though Mr. Stevenson has some anger issues (found more info).
I was actually at the game, but in the Student Section (we were not the MUSS in those days) and this happened on the other side of the stadium.
It makes sense that a guy like him (clearly very... uh shall we say... passionate) doesn't like Bronco's approach.
He brings up some interesting points and he appears to come from the era when beating Utah was a thing, so I can see why he's frustrated.
I disagree with some of his points, but everybody has an opinion and he has better insight on what a successful program looks like than most of us.
We can all agree on one thing, however: Based on the police blotter that I came across, I don't think that he would be able to stick at BYU in the current climate. I personally think that would be a shame as BYU seems to have been exactly what he needed to become a productive member of society, but that's the microscope that BYU is under (self imposed or otherwise).
I saw on his Linkedin profile that he has a Risk Management company. Good for him, and again, a sign that BYU was exactly where he needed to be. He went from Anger Management to avoid jail time to helping companies with their Risk Management.
That's a heck of a Management school (even if it is named after Utes )
