So they're "voluntary" like your work picnic. You don't HAVE to go, but you do
actually HAVE to go.
You think BM doesn't consider playing time/starters based on fireside attendance/participation (see the comment below about most of the starters being at the fireside last night).
I cannot stand the fireside tradition. Players AND coaches should watching film and prepping for the game. Like what Derek said, they should be getting ready to kick some yewt and take some names.
