Looking at Tom Holmoe as an example, I see a man who was a mediocre Head coach in Division I at best. When he was given the opportunity to be the AD I feel that he really excelled, and it was a better fit for him. He has done an amazing job so far juggling this crazy independent scheduling.
Brandon Doman was always being groomed for the position of head coach when he was at BYU. He was a good recruiter, and a very good public figure. (Apparently, not so great as an offensive Coordinator though.)
So, with that said my question is this: Would he be a person that should be considered for head coach if Broncos time were tocome to an end? Or do you feel like a HC should excel at one of the Coordinator positions first? Honest question.
