USU, UofU, BSU are killing us in the NFL draft
Since 2010, here are the number of players drafted by school:
BSU: 14
UofU: 13
USU: 8
BYU: 4
Those are grim numbers. Is this coaching or recruiting? I say it's definitely both. I believe that NFL draft stats are one way to measure talent level on the team. It's not the only predictor of success, but it's one of them. Look back at the great byu teams of the past. Guys were going to the NFL, sometimes more than 6 or so per class.
It is a common perception by byu fans to think that we are superior talent wise to our regional schools. The nfl would disagree.
