Still going to the games.Still watching them on TV.Still buying Season tickets.
Still donating to Cougar Club.
Does Bronco need to be replaced... maybe. I'll support whatever decision BYU decides to make. I supported Edwards and Crowton to the end, and threw that support behind Bronco, just like I will with whoever replaces Bronco... be it next year or in 10.
Does complaining about it help me have more fun while the team is struggling? Nope. Negativity only breeds more negativity.

This morning... even though BYU lost... my son was excited to put on a new BYU shirt.
Yesterday before school... even though BYU had already lost 3 games in a row and it was likely to be a 4th... my kids were excited to put up our gameday flag in the yard and auto flags on the car. On Saturday, they will be excited once again to put up the flags, put on the BYU gear and get ready to cheer for BYU.

I took some friends to the BYU Nevada game including a cousin and his wife I hadn't spent time with since I was 8. We were all terribly disappointed in the total meltdown and loss. But that didn't ruin the good time we had with friends and family. Last night, knowing we would likely lose, we still made an event of the game.
There are only 12-13 BYU football games every year. I can't control or even really influence if they win or lose... I can control if I choose to have fun or not. Is it MORE FUN when BYU wins... of course. But I am a BYU fan... win or lose... Rain or shine... day or night.

So for those of you jumping ship... good luck. I would gladly redistribute your tickets for you as I know many people who would still love the experience of going to a BYU game. Although reading CB this long it is clear many of you complainers don't even have season tickets anyway...

I love BYU and I am happy that I live in a place that I can relatively easily make it to the home games. I am happy the Lord has blessed my family with the ability to donate to BYU and buy season tickets. I am excited that we have a great relationship with ESPN and so more people can watch the games and I can watch all the away games.
Withdrawing support, complaining, and acting like a University of Utah fan will not help BYU at all. Tom, Bronco, Kevin and everyone are well aware that BYU is performing below expectations. They will right the ship, or make a change... either way... I am a True Blue BYU fan. I won't hide behind a paper bag. I won't donate my BYU gear to DI. I won't stop being proud to cheer for the Cougars. Teams win and lose every day... I deal with it. That is part of being a fan.
