I think PoVey will still get burned, Kafusi will still underwhelm and Leavitt will still commit some dumb personal fouls. But it will be enough to beat a C-USA team on the road and right the ship enough to beat UNLV and Savannah State at home. I don't think we beat Cal.

The problem? Bronco taking over the D and righting the ship enough to get a bowl game and a winning season will be viewed as more of coaching 'right' than hiring Howell in the first place will be viewed as a coaching 'wrong'.
