than anything else. If a team can get eyes on the TV and butts in the seats, a conference will want them. BYU just needs to compromise on a few things and we'd be in. No compromise on Sunday play for sure, but there are other points of contention that could be overcome. Sure we're having a down year, but so does every team. A program that has a history of making money is what counts, and BYU has that. Why else would ESPN sign a contract with us? We're so far disappointing ESPN with the results on the field this season, but even they realize we'll bounce back from this. We offer a lot to a conference, but we need to compromise on short-term revenue, BYUTV, olympic sports, etc.
