The reason I brought it up was that Whittingham took a shot at Bronco by mentioning "not whining" about injuries, right after the USC victory, when he was feeling his Wheaties.

After the adrenaline rush is gone, comments like he made can come back to bite him hard in the butt...just like Bronco's did. He can no longer even reference injuries, no matter how many pile up, because of that one moment of ego he indulged in...to get back at Bronco.
