Both of those are big "if's", as he leads a simple life style and has been paid enough he could most likely easily retire young, but should both "if's" happen, there are plenty of G5 schools out there who would hire him for their HC.
Now, after the struggles he had at BYU in managing being an HC, he may decide that being a DC is best for him. In that case, there would be several PAC schools interested, and maybe a few B12 or B10 schools. There are plenty of those schools that need a good DC, that's for sure. He has a national reputation for defense. P5 schools in the southeast would be reluctant as he wouldn't know the recruiting area.
