...stabilized. DUring Fall Camp, Bronco and Howell ignored the players who were suspended for the first game and gave 1st team reps to the guys who were going to start vs UConn. This was a short term good decision because it helped the replacement players get ready for UConn but it kind of backfired in the long run because neither JJ nor Rob Daniels looked anywhere close to their usual selves once they got on the field and faced a decent passing attack. Then things sort of snowballed and it took a bit for players like Rob to get their wits and confidence back.

In the big picture no defensive back is going to look good this year due to our overall defense and especially the lack of any pressure at all from our front 7. From that standpoint, it's collectively been a disappointment.
