1973-74 - Brigham City (hated it, rudest meanest kids I'd met, and I lived in So Cal during busing)
1977-79 - Fruit Heights (senior year at Davis, one of the best years of my life, accepted by all, a pretty close group of kids, still with some minor divisions based on who you were, what your parents did, how much money, but for the most part, we were homogenous); left on my mission from here
1982-86 - moved back to get a job with YDE and go to Hawaii, when I came back, I used my scholarship at Weber to go to college (I had a fight with my Dad, I've never lived under his roof again). Stayed until I graduated from college - USU
1995-97 - returned from nearly 10 years in the Army, moved to Kaysvilled, then to Erda(Grantsville) and built a house. Left for China fall 2007.
2007 - purchased a home in Orem, my kids who are in college live there, I visit one week a year. My long term home is in Paris, Idaho.
Long and short is that I've lived in Utah either for schooling, work, or to be close to my folks, I love the mountains, the deserts, and lakes and rivers... it's a great place. Church wise, I'm not going to attempt to compare my more than 20 years outside not just Utah, but the US, and attendance in church compared to Utah. I will say that I find attendance in Utah a little 'restricting' or 'claustrophobic' if that makes sense?
