I said at the end of last season that I thought you would see the most improvement in Worthington. In HS he was a kid that was always bigger than the opposition so he did not have to develop the skill set necessary to compete against big men at the next level. I have seen a lot of HS players come to college and have the same struggle their freshman year. Luke has had a full year in the system and has had the benefit of coaching on how to use his body to his advantage. He is never going to be a big leaper but he is a big body and that can get you position to score. If he is able to hit a baby hook with either hand he can be dangerous in the post.

I still maintain that Kaufusi will end up being the starting center. He is still raw but has great athletic ability and if we can get 12 pts out of the various centers on the team and they can defend the rim it will help our defense immensely.
