Crappy ones (new, in that price range) are just awful. They shake & rattle -- the biggest drag is just how noisy the cheap ones can be.

I'd take that $200-300 and buy a "used" one on KSL or Craigslist because as LoN points out, it probably didn't get that much use anyhow.
