Unfortunately, money can't fix what needs to be fixed. BYU needs to get more P5
opponents on its schedule. It either needs a scheduling agreement with several P5 conferences(good luck there), or it needs to get into a P5 conference(not happening anytime in the foreseeable future).

Recruiting is BYU's biggest challenge. Until BYU can fix the above mentioned problem, it will not land the number of elite athletes, both LDS and non-LDS that it needs to be relevant on the national stage. It is what it is.

Just throwing money at it can get you a high salaried staff, but that staff doesn't improve recruiting enough to move the cause forward.
