I think it wouldn't take him long to realize it was the right move for the program. Tom Holmoe could act as the intermediary to get everyone on the same page.

If he was willing to swallow his pride a little bit and let Sitake take control of the defense, I think it would go a long way to reversing some of the mistakes he has made and allow him to stay at BYU until he felt like it was time to move on.
