BYU had ended up ranked for the 4th year in a row, finishing 12th. Many felt Heaps was the X factor that could elevate the program further in subsequent seasons. Some on here talked about how the field was going to be named after Mendenhall. The program was at its pinnacle with none of us knowing Unga would leave early,Heaps wouldn't pan out, and 6 losses to USU and Utah were coming. Of course KVN and Ziggy came too. A couple Texas wins, A victory over a USU team that finished ranked. What a strange 5 season trip it has been since then...

What I'm curious about is did anyone see this coming?

Also in January 2020, what will become of Hill, Mangum and BYU?
