I have a feeling the ending will upset a lot of people
i.e., there won't be any ending, and it will end up being a podcast about how "truth is vague" or some other lame philosophical exercise. When they started the podcast they indicated they didn't know the ending, but were around 70% sure of some things. With all the attention the podcast has been getting, it is unlikely Sarah K. is holding on to some revelatory information.

The podcast has been a huge hit, and has gotten much bigger than the producers were prepared for (just read the subreddit - people are obsessed and hounding those involved with pictures, phone calls, etc). If it turns out the producers simply drummed up painful memories for entertainment purposes with no real new information, there will be a big backlash.
