He doesn't have to be 100% but he does have to be good. To win, BYU needs him to rebound, which is one of his best talents.
If you are right that he can't perform well vs SDSU nor over the coming weeks, it is still good if he can recover next month. But they likely go into the Gonzaga game 9-4 or worse. Without Aytes or KC in the second half, win total could shrink to the low 20s.
