With BYU, Utah and CU, plus the Arizona schools, it would be a good league
Minus some excess weight like Wyoming, of course. Schools like CSU and UNM are pretty much P5 level in terms of enrollment and academics, but their sorry performances and lack of interest has kept them down. Boise State is probably the best football program outside of the P5, even above BYU (it's all about recent performance.)
Too bad the Pac-12 took most of the good mountain time zone schools.
