and asked if I was at the game. She then asked if I was going to be like my dad and stay to the very end, no matter how bad the weather was. I was proud to say "yes, you know I will." I had a couple bad weather and a couple good weather BYU football game experiences back when I was about 7-10 years old, I guess my dad got me hooked back then and it stuck.

I couldn't have been more pleased to hear my mom say my dad would've been proud of me for doing exactly what he would've been doing.
