respect loyalty and sticktoitiveness in a fickle and petty world, where decisions and opinions are based or changed on a 10 sec sound bite.

But IMO, the utter meltdown and collapse vs. mediocre mtn west teams, some at home, was defense. CS has done his part, as has the O for the most part. Unprepared, hapless, hopeless appearances can only partly, 1/3 tops, be blamed on injuries.

I have no proof, but anecdotal stuff has clearly hinted at chemistry w coaches, frustration and despair on the D side and it's the only thing that makes sense, given the talent is there to compete w MW teams. I'm not baggin on you, I just think ignoring the real, repeated mistakes by staff is to slide back into that warm bubble bath of mediocrity.

Both extremes on CB get a bit old,but fair criticism, non-cheap shot criticism is necessary to finally bury the delusion that "if this injury hadn't happened, or bad reffs etc" we'd have have accomplished __________. This phenomenon creates enough wiggle room and distraction that the real 800lb gorilla in the BYU FB locker room gets a green blanket thrown over it & decorations and converts to a *Christmas tree.
