is they're planting seeds of discontent.
I've talked to people who genuinely hope we lose out, so Bronco will be replaced.
And they say that, knowing it would take more losing than we've endured thus far to get him fired. Even in our worst case scenario we will finish 7-6 this year. Like Bronco or not, nobody myself included will be thrilled with that result. But it's definitely not going to get him fired. And I really don't want to go through a 2015 that would get him fired, so why not get behind the team?
Players are aware of the discontent - they don't live in a bubble. And as much as I'd like to think it doesn't impact them, the lack of support probably has some effect on their performance.
Wouldn't we be much better served, to stop being a bunch of pantywastes, get behind the team come hades or highwater and hope that our support inspires them to play better?
If the time comes we go through a Crowtonesque stretch of seasons, then I'll support a change, but I'm going to do all I can to make sure that stretch never comes. Even if my efforts are simply buying tickets and speaking of my school's football team in a positive manner.
I for one, am going to get behind this team and cheer them on, hoping for a 9 win season and a fantastic 2015.
Go Cougars!
