They graduate a ton of talent on defense? They lose Orchard (big loss), Rowe
(decent loss), and Blechen (minimal loss).

Their defense next year returns their best play-makers (excluding Orchard). Reggie Porter will be back. Ahmad Christian will be able to play after transferring from South Carolina. Hatfield and Justin Thomas will be the other CBs. Marcus Williams and Tevin Carter will be the safeties. Carter is the most athletic safety Utah has probably ever had.

Kylie Fitts will be able to play after transferring from UCLA. Hopefully he can fill in for Orchard, along with Pita Taumoepenu. Lowell Lotulelei and Clint Shephard both return. Dimick will be back.

Norris, Paul, Fanaika, and Whittingham are all returning.

Also, Andy Phillips and Tom Hackett are both returning. So their defense and special teams won't be taking much of a drop off next year. In fact, both units could potentially be stronger.

If they can figure things out at QB, they could be a very good team next year. They return their entire OL. I don't think Booker leaves early. There is an outside shot that Clay gets another year. And they have signed some good talent at the WR position. If the offense takes a decent step forward Utah will have a top 20 team next year.
