One, I didn't say it was the ONLY game that fits the criteria for permanent fandom.
Two, those games were bad AFTER the fact, not before. GOING to this game is a test of fandom. Showing up for Boise or Utah, even in the snow, isn't that big a deal. Showing up for a 6-4 team against the worst team in college football in the freezing drizzle is markedly harder, IMO. And yes, I was at the other two as well.
