Sagarin proves the point (at least how I think of the PAC 12 being overrated).
The SEC West is king. PAC 12 South (which people say is "great") is on par with the SEC East (which people say is "down") and B12 (which people say is "good") and then there's the B1G...nestled in closely to the PAC 12 North (which people say is "good").
Given that every team in the PAC 12 South has a bad loss...you can't count on any of those teams being in the playoff.
Oregon has an okay resume (despite the Arizona loss), but there's a realistic chance that Oregon would lose to every single team in the SEC West on a neutral field. So, the PAC 12 isn't anything special.
