The Sangarin rankings show that the best division is the SEC West, followed by the SEC East, then PAC South, then down the line.
There is a significant jump between SEC West and SEC East; SEC East and PAC South are almost tied. SEC West has four ranked teams. SEC East has two ranked teams. PAC South has... four ranked teams!??! How does the PAC South have twice as many ranked teams as a division that is ranked higher (SEC East), and the same amount as a division that is ranked significantly higher?
Simple. Overrated.
