I used to believe that, but now realize that the social factors with the

PAC12 University Presidents were too big and BYU would not have been given serious consideration for admission. I doubt that will change over the next 25 years. It is either Big12, or Independence for BYU. Either can work out OK, but winning on the field is more important now than ever.
