Overall Satisfied with Tourney
--Absent a couple of non-calls, BYU beats SDSU.
--Haws had a wide open shot that would have beaten Purdue in regulation. Can't ask for more than that. Just missed it.

Two close losses in OT against quality opponents. This early-season experience will help BYU a lot in the weeks to come. They've got a tough pre-season schedule. After playing Eastern Kentucky in Provo on Saturday, they play Utah St in Logan on Tuesday, followed by Hawaii in SLC, Utah in Provo, and Weber St in Ogden. No pushovers in the bunch. Then they play Stanford, UMass, and Gonzaga in Provo. The Cougars are currently 4-2, and could realistically lose to both USU and Utah. They could also lose to Stanford, UMass, and Gonzaga. So there is a lot of opportunity for the Cougars, but they could also be 7-7 after the Gonzaga game and still have a pretty good team.
