I generally have a policy against movies involving outer space or wizards. I had never seen Star Wars so I sat down a few years ago to try to understand what the big deal was and is. I made it through one of the originals and thought it was ... Underwhelming. I suppose it was revolutionary in how it changed filmmaking, but the movie itself in no way merits the fanaticism associated with it in my opinion.
