It was hard to stomach that for same price I was paying for the ThinkPad, I could have purchased a new 27" iMac with Retina 5K display, but I have been extremely happy with the build quality and performance of the W540. Especially, when compared to the garbage Asus I bought in March. That Asus was the biggest waste of $700 ever.

(By the way, if anyone wants to purchase said garbage Asus with it's new hard drive that the manufacturer put in--BM me).
