This is not what I was arguing.
What BYU fan doesn't understand that so far independence has not brought good home schedules? That fact is that our SOS for the first 4 years of independence was low end of P5 for 2 of the 4 years, then middle of the pack for P5 the other two. Next year it will be somewhere around the middle of all P5 teams. The vast majority of all P5 teams schedule an FCS game every year, and BYU's schedules going forward will be very comparable to many other P5 teams.

As for the home schedule, BYU can't force teams to play at LES, but what they can do is go on the road and play tough teams and at neutral venues. Plus the home schedules will gradually improve as BYU has had a lot of even scheduling agreements signed over the past few years with P5 teams.
