I'm a bit jaded. I hear all the idiots here in the Bay complain about
the areas of Oakland that have undergone a makeover in the last 2 or 3 years at the expense of "culture." The only "culture" I see leaving is the ghetto with all it's drive by shootings and crack deals. The nice shops and restaurants are a welcome change to the blight that has been there before.
