Bama, miss st, ole miss, lsu, auburn, Texas am. I believe all 6 were in the top 5 at one point and three were at #1. the south is good but most hovered just inside or just outside the top 25 much of the year with UCLA, asu, and Arizona peaking outside the top 5 before getting pummeled. UCLA finished very poorly as did asu with a loss to Oregon st. The top sec west teams (outside of Texas am) didn't lose to the likes of oregon st, Stanford at home (big), Wazzu at home.

The utah media keeps hyping the south as the top division but they are wrong and I am not sure there is really a debate when taking off the P12 love fest glasses that they wear all the time

No doubt it was a tough division at least this year though
