Quick CPA/Accounting Question re: LLC's TIA
I've had a single-member LLC and so I could always file it along with my regular taxes.

I just formed another LLC a few months ago with a prospective business partner in anticipation of launching by November. Things happened to prevent that.
Can we both file our regular personal returns like normal and THEN file a separate return for the business later? He likes to file his personal returns the first minute he can. I usually wait until late February. He wants to know if he can still file early and then do a return later for the business.

I was confused because since my single-member passes through to my personal income it files at the same time. Didn't know if it was different rules for a multi-member LLC.

I would call my CPA but he screwed up my taxes last year so I left him. But I haven't chosen another for this year yet... And I'm out of town but told my partner I'd try to find the answer for him by today... TIA.
