Rose settles for recruiting mainly in Utah. That's not some big secret. And more than that, he has his fair share of very questionable recruits who probably don't even belong in D1 ball, or at least at BYU. There's absolutely no reason he couldn't try harder for more non typical recruits. Doesn't have to keep being so quick to offer the Andrus', Sharps, Shaws, etc. They could definitely get out more with their recruiting. I didn't say one thing about landing a ton of top 50 guys, but they CAN do better than a handful or two of recruits they have every few years.

I like how you said they had to be considering us... Well, they actually need to be recruited before they will consider. Not just top guys, plenty of other guys. You never know until you actually recruit them. If they actually looked out of state more and went non lds more, they'd miss more, but they'd also find more. Look what happened with football recruiting. All they had to do was try. The top end of Rose's recruiting is fine. It's the questionable schollies that could be replaced with much, much better.
