Why did Olmstead switch setters?
Hey Cougarboard, I'm a lifelong BYU fan and occasionally have checked out Cougarboard when especially exciting things are happening with BYU sports. I finally made an account because for once nobody has asked the question I came to Cougarboard to have answered.

So my question is this: What is Coach Olmstead's reasoning for switching setters?
I've followed the volleyball team all season long and I've noticed throughout the season that Robbins-Hardy would occasionally play, but it also seemed like the games she played more than the other setter were the games BYU lost (I looked it up, and yes, before the tournament Robbins-Hardy led the team in assists in 2 games, both were losses @San Diego and @Santa Clara). I'm not saying Olmstead shouldn't be playing the freshman, obviously she's done well in the tournament (although she looked pretty shaky at the end of the 4th set against Texas and made some mistakes against Arizona) but what was his motivation to go away from his starter all year and the setter that led last year's sweet 16 team? Are there any of you on CB that know a lot about volleyball that have an idea? ESPN asked Olmstead about it once while the team was in Seattle, but he kinda dodged the question...
