my son who is 10 is in Junior Jazz right now and not on a pre-organized team. However, he did get a friend (who is going to be around 6-6 or taller and VERY good) who transferred in from a pre-organized team on to his team after his team's games conflicted with his super league games. Anyway, my son's team has 4 kids that at least know how you play basketball and can dribble. The other teams however, yikes! The scores have been around 30-0 going in to the 4th quarter and it appears there won't be a team even come close. And this is with no set plays and rotating boys at random. The unfortunate thing is that to even get moderate competition you need to go in to super league which practices two days a week for multiple hours and costs $100 a month and then travel.
