Obviously, they're playing amazingly well, and they look like world beaters. How'd they end up unseeded entering the tourney? Are they playing significantly better? Was there an obvious turning point or adjustment during the year?

I enjoyed going to volleyball games (men's and women's) as a student, but I haven't followed them until they started making headlines. Any informed volleyball fan(s) out there want to tell the team's story?
