Lay on your side with a towel you don't mind getting bleached under your head. Pour in a cap full of hydrogen peroxide and let it sit there until the bubbling sound stops. Dump it out. Lay back on your side and put a cap full of rubbing isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol in. Dump that. The alcohol helps wick out moisture. Do that a few times to see if you can kill it off. If that doesn't improve by the next day, head to the doc. This is the treatment my best friend's dad (ENT) gave me and it usually works.
