The commentator was wrong, too, as I understand the rule. Don't the rules say it
indeed DOES matter where the contact takes place even if the defender is stationary? Thought the wording was something to the effect of "defender must maintain position motionless IN FRONT of the offensive player..." Or, as my coach named it, the "nipples-out" rule - if you aren't in good enough position that the drive makes contact with you to your side (outside the nipples), it's a block. I've got that right, correct?
