We actually LIKE people, so we like to talk to them, and we really didn't get to by just having our kids deliver treats.

Instead, we invite people over for an evening of soup. We do it open house style, so people can come and go as they please. We start about 6 pm and go to 10 pm.

Last year we had about 115 people come throughout the evening. We made about 11 gallons of soup. I think we had 7 different varieties last year, all homemade.
