Now, practically everyone goes to a bowl game since there are almost 40 of them, so going to a bowl game 10 years in a row isn't a great achievement, especially when that happens in the MWC/ with an Independent schedule. In addition, the teams that Bronco has played in his bowl games have been very poor. What was the best team Bronco played in his 10 bowls? A few 7th placed Pac 12 teams, maybe?

When Lavell went to bowl games it meant something because it was much harder to qualify, and then the teams he played were much better and so his inferior record vs. Bronco can be understood. Lavell lost to good Penn St. teams, Texas A&M, tied Iowa, etc.. He would have beaten every team Bronco beat in my opinion.
