I see it more as a function of poor play calling by Anae. I think that Bronco wanted to go for another score, and called the Defensive TO to preserve time for the offense. I just think that Anae went WAY to conservative to avoid a turnover. I think this is why Stewart was snapping it so early, because they weren't actually trying to kill the clock at first, it was just poor play calling for that situation.
