...2010 was the start of Bronco having to rely on his own recruits. Matt Putnam was the only Gary Crowton recruit left in the program in 2010, everyone else was Bronco's. Also, Bronco's man crush on Riley had started likely in the 2009 season. We had highly recruited QB's in our system that went ignored and even had a future NFL draft pick QB in our system and he was told by coaches at BYU that he'd never play for the Y and so he transferred after the 2009 season. Not having a good QB for the next 3-4 seasons hurt.
