I watched the game like everyone else and it was a fun game that we just came up a bit short. Then come the fighting after the game. I read a lot of people pointing the finger at one player or another and blaming them. My take is that sometimes things like this happen. This was a close game and there was a lot of jawing going on both ways. Tempers were short on both sides. It happens.

To those on this board demanding that players be thrown off the team or expelled from school I can only say "sit down and shut up". Take off those self righteous robes you have clothed yourself in as you pretend you have never done anything rash or foolish enough that you would regret it later. Both coaches will deal with the players involved and it is not up to us to do anything. So the next time your child hits someone throw him/her out of the house because that would make you consistent. Having raised four teenager daughters I can attest that each and every one of them did some things that infuriated their parents. But we did not turn our backs on them and we worked through the issues. That is what should and will happen in this case.
