John I agree with you on almost all points. The one point I just can't agree with is playing down the severity of the fight. I am sorry but it was embarrassing. As a former player, yes fights happen in practice but not like this. Not a battle royal type display with helmets being swung and sucker punch haymakers targeting random players.

All you have to do to realize how severe this is was watch espn after the game. Steve young was not himself after the game he was so caught off guard.

But I am absolutely sick of people playing the blame game with abject truths about how and why it started. I love my cougars but this was embarrassing.
