Monson doesn't like the Honor Code at BYU, he doesn't like Bronco and most of the other coaches and he thinks BYU should give up sports.

Mostly, Monson is just a jerk. Sometimes anyway. He's got a job and he attracts more readers and listeners by writing controversial columns and spouting anti-BYU crap. In other words, he's a typical sports writer.
