GCU is moving forward in a big way. They have significantly upgraded their facilities (athletic and otherwise), are pushing hard to increase enrollment, and want to begin making more of a splash in athletics. They are currently a member of the WAC (which most of us wouldn't recognize anymore). Their basketball coach is Dan Marjerle. Knocking off New Mexico is a big deal for them.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see them in the WCC in a few years. I'd like that because it would mean BYU teams to the Phoenix area more often.
