Welp, even Utah "insider" is saying it's true that there have been talks.
For whatever it's worth:
There have been several tweets from this Justin individual, and he is also saying Whit has met with BYU. Although, Justin is convinced that Whit is staying at Utah.
This all sounds like Whit exploring some options, but probably not hearing enough to get him to leave Utah.
